I would like to leave a note on how grateful we are for country folk restaurant every Tuesday from 7 to 11 they hold a veterans breakfast with coffee for the low cost of $10. We get in roughly about 35 to 40 veterans on a Tuesday morning, the staff is excellent service is really good. The main person there Maria she treats the veterans like her own family the portions that they serve veterans or customers is enough for my breakfast and my lunch I'm not complaining the waitresses and the waiter are extremely nice with us. They have a bus boy that's there. Let me tell you. He makes it worth while going there. He'll have you laughing in between your meals, the veterans would like to thank Marie and country folks for the excellent hospitality. I just left their Christmas Eve Maria fed roughly about 35 to 40 veterans this morning. Thank you so much. I appreciate it and the vets appreciate it. See you Tuesday. Kountry Folks, more like the best folks. Maria the waitress was so nice and lovely. She made sure I had everything I needed, and then some. She really goes above and beyond for the customers. The food came out fast and hot, it was really good.
Our family has been coming here for multiple generations. They recently changes ownership, this process has also changed the menu and prices. The food is still excellent quality. We do miss some of the options but have discovered new likes with the new menu. The service is always quality, the ambiance is a work in progress. The chicken fried steak is still excellent the biscuits are a bit thicker and you do need to ask for more gravy. Coffee is still strong and the house salsa is amazing.
We came here out of a whomp. We wanted Brunch. Got the chilaquiles with steak can go wrong for $13 plus $6 for the steak. Prices are fair, they serve a lot of food and it's not bad. I will come back if I'm in the area

A great place to have breakfast with the family, so much we've become regulars. It's so nice when they recognize and welcome you in. Yes, the parking lot can feel a bit sketchy but we've never had any problems and we come with our 4 year old that we are super protective of. Come support a small business versus a big breakfast chain, you won't be disappointed.

It has been 3 years since I last reviewed this restaurant. It is now under new management. I must say that this is one of the best breakfast/lunch restaurant in the entire San Fernando Valley. This restaurant literally has it all. You will get exceptional service from all of the servers/waiters/waitresses here. There is a wide variety of different foods to choose from. The food is super tasty! The parking area is fairly big. You will have one of the best dining options by coming here. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
